My kids, who have very discerning shave ice taste, say this is the best shave I’ve ever. They talk about it when we’re in Colorado and insist we have it everyday when we’re lucky enough to visit Oahu.
An amazing experience with my whole family. We have seen no better than Coconut Joe. Their service is amazing and they are very nice. They have a very nice environment and can stop on the side and order.

I was 9 years old in 1964 when we visited Oahu. Coconut Joes is my favorite memory. I'm glad to see it is still there although it has changed from a hut made of chicken wire covered by vines to a modern building. I'm wondering if they still have a myna bird somewher on the property. My brother and I loved that bird.
