The shrimp are not de-veined and the garlic shrimp was not good at all (I got sick later that night and I think this place was the culprit). The blackened Mahi-Mahi was pretty good though. Old white lady cashier was rude (to be fair, we did order at like 4:30 and they close at 5). Definitely would not come here again.

New favorite restaurant. Seriously. This experience could not have been better. Right away the shrimp shack staff were kind, welcoming and friendly, it'd be hard not to be happy in such a beautiful location, right across from the beach with the breeze coming off the water. This spot has a fantastic menu, the three of us went with two plates to share but we could've downed four plates easy. Their coconut shrimp is one of the best bites of my life, served with a mango honey sauce that it SO GOOD and they're being SO CHILL about selling it, they could put up a sign or something to let people driving by know they have maybe the best sauce I've ever had. Their garlic shrimp was great as well, the Mahi Mahi with grilled onions was the other star of the day, I suggest loading up on coconut shrimp and the mango sauce, as much of the mango sauce as you can get away with, and Mahi Mahi and enjoying it all as we did at their tables by the sea. A beautiful experience. This place is a must stop.

Absolutely loved my visit to the Shrimp Shack food truck! Positioned perfectly by the seaside, it's the ideal stop after a day at the Kualoa Ranch. The warmth and friendliness of the lovely lady running the place added a wonderful touch to the whole experience.But let's talk about the star of the show – the garlic shrimp rice. It's hands down the best shrimp dish I've had on the island. The aroma of garlic mingled perfectly with the butter, creating a flavor that's just divine. Enjoying this dish while the sea breeze caresses your face is an experience in itself. O. M. G. We have been to many shrimp trucks and restaurants around the island. BY FAR the BEST garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp we have EVER had!!!! I just wish she was open more days! Highly highly recommend! Hi grab some beers next door at the market and enjoy the waves while you eat her amazing shrimp!!!

Mussels are fantastic. Had them 3 times now and they were perfect every time. Pro tip, save the rice for the end. Scoop some left over sauce from the mussels using half a shell and spread over the rice. So ono! Thanks Irene!
