I had heard about it before I arrived in Hawaii. I had the spicy shrimp which in reality means they dump some Sriracha in with it. It was good, but I have had better on the same side of the island as they are. It is a food truck, which is by no means a bad thing,
Oh my goodness the garlic class are to die for. I was complaining to my partner that he ordered too much food however he made the best choice. We had the steak and garlic shrimp and coconut prawns all amazing! Worth the drive. You won't be disappointed.
This was the first place my sister and brother-in-law ate when they first came to the east side of Oahu years ago. When we lost my sister in August ‘24, her husband and I made a point of stopping by for lunch. The staff couldn’t have been more considerate to our feelings. My bro showed her this pic of the 2 of them in front of the truck from that day, and our server promised to hang it up when he sent it to her.
