Paul's Place Reviews
Paul’s Place is a very quaint and very cute place to eat! Love the slight breeze we felt as we sat by the window. Decorated with charm and even a picture of Paul as a young surfer. It has been described as a “hidden gem”in an article by the Honolulu magazine and it is! Located on a corner near Hilo Farmers Market. It only seats about 8 people so make sure you text Paul, the owner, so you have the opportunity to try his tasty food! We tried his Eggs Benedict...read full review
Paul is there and cooking all the food himself. The food quality and presentation was phenomenal.

Paul's Place is a small, intimate café, known for its delightful atmosphere and excellent brunch. The owner, Paul, is a passionate and accommodating chef, dedicated to making customers happy through his delicious food. With only three tables, each seating two, the space feels quaint and peaceful, perfect for quiet conversations. Inside, the café is tastefully decorated, with seasonal touches that enhance the cozy vibe. Reservations are highly recommended due to the restaurant's small size and popularity, especially as it can be challenging to find parking nearby.
The Belgian waffle remains a standout dish, perfectly browned on the outside and soft on the inside. Guests have praised the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, which features a special aioli sauce instead of the traditional hollandaise. Another unique offering is the pasta de Marco, a signature breakfast dish that includes pan-fried noodles with eggs, topped with salmon, bacon, tomatoes, capers, and mixed greens. Coffee is also highlighted as amazing. Overall, Paul's Place is a hidden gem and a must-visit destination, offering a wonderful and memorable dining experience.
