I found a penny on the sidewalk and thought, "a lucky day"... Fast forward to finding Paul's Place in Hilo, which was truly my lucky day find!It's important to note, you MUST HAVE RESERVATIONS to enjoy Paul's Place experience.After chatting with a local couple, they recommended Belgian waffles. I had the pleasure of having my first experience at this amazing little restaurant… I couldn’t be more impressed with the service, the quality of the food and the atmosphere! I can definitely see why it’s hard to get a reservation! I will absolutely be back. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this place before it’s amazing. Thank you, Paul.

The BEST meal I have ever had. The atmosphere is amazing and Paul is such a personable and passionate chef. He puts such a creative twist on all of his menu items and his ingredients are incredibly fresh. I could not recommend this place enough!!
