“Best take out sushi in Hilo hands down ! Place looks unassuming but this is the only place I'll order sushi from . I haven't had a chance to try other items but I've tried their poke and hamachi and ahi sushi rolls . Fresh fish and good quality and reasonably priced . This is honestly better than the other "reserve a table a year in advance" places . In my opinion .“

“Food so good you might get into a car accident if you decide to eat & drive because the food is so amazing you will completely stop focusing on the road? One of the best spots in town with QUALITY top tier food. There’s only 6 different options every week plus one dessert item on the menu. No matter what you get, it’s the bomb! Some of my favorites include - the best ever pineapple carrot cake, the uala Haupia pie, Cioppino seafood stew, shrimp scampi, loco moco, furikaki salmon, the uala purple potato salad is a must, I could go on & list more but I’ll stop here.
