I’m sorry, I can no longer support The Booch. I previously stopped in for lunch every time I had a Hilo medical appointment, but the last time cured me. I ordered my usual Nicoise Salad. I mean what can you do to a salad? The lettuce was bitter - okay, that can happen, but the piece of fish was like hardened cardboard. I couldn’t even discern the species. No more. Future Hilo visits will go Thai.
The staff is incredible. Sebastian’s tikka masala soup was soooo delicious. We definitely made the right choice.
Not wanting to pigeon-hole ourselves into one place, Yelp! reviewers gave this spot very good reviews, so we thought we'd check it out. Seems that Keawe Street may be "restaurant row" in Hilo, and The Booch Bar appears to be a hip standout.
