We stopped here for takeout during our weekend on Hawai'i. I had no idea that such high quality barbeque existed on the islands. Definitely compares to some of the better barbeque I've had in the Carolinas and Virginia. I highly recommend stopping here!

I was unsure when i got here as the sign says Crazy grandmas'. We almost headed back out but the server/owner(?) ushered as in and told us that they only have a brisket sandwich , pork ribs and pulled pork, we both said its fine. The decor is outdated, but if youre willing to let that slide, the food is awesome. That chili beans!!! The brisket, pulled pork and ribs are tender, flavorful and smoked to perfection. Highly Recommend! Uncle Bob is very friendly and makes delicious food for very fair prices. Located about 8 mins from the airport, we found the place by just driving by at the end of our trip. The chili and rice blew me away and if we go back to Hilo I will visit Bob’s again just for that alone! My two girls enjoyed their pulled pork sandwich with cornbread and my wife, who only wanted coleslaw, ate half of my brisket sandwich as well! Bob mentioned he’s going to fix up the...
