While visiting Hawaii Island on vacation many years ago, we encountered Hawaii Cloud Forest Coffee at Merriman's Restaurant in Waimea and liked it. When we finally decided to move here, this coffee soon became our daily drinker. It makes a wonderful pour over in a Chemex. We place an order more or less monthly and delivery via mail is always prompt. This is NOT a coffee shop! We made the mistake as many people have and drove to this location thinking it was one. The owners are so sweet and kind though. We stumbled upon their coffee and purchased a bag of beans from a local shop. Amazing coffee!
