Both times was a real disappointment as far as food goes. I thought Asahi was a Japanese word so I assumed it was that. I've been wanting their turkey Ala king, but both times he told me they were out. The first time we went was within the hour of them opening?? This time he kept suggesting pork guisantes which was dry and bland and meat really dried out and fatty. To me, zippy seems to have higher standards when it comes to food. Definitely not worth 15 dollars. I would never recommend Asahi to anyone. I don't want to see the disappointment from asahi's misrepresentation from plates that don't even taste right. I even can't recall what I ordered the first time. It was that bad..sorry Asahi but you need chefs in there, not Asians that can't make guisantes right. It even tasted like leftovers from several days ago. ?

One of my favorite Ox Tail soup place to be. At Asahi Grill you don't only get great food , but the service here is awesome. Restaurant is very clean , staff here is amazingly friendly too. Come stop by , and if you are hanging from a long night out. This will take care of that too. lol

Frequently go to this Asahi Grill location for dinner and am always met with great service that delivers the food quickly. The inside is nice and spacious with a nice private room. The Kalbi fried rice is the best and comes with a little side of kimchi which is my favorite too. The pork chop is thin but moist, buttery, AND garlicky. The chop steak is a lot of vegetables but has a good flavor. A great place to go for consistent food and a casual atmosphere.

Food was not very tasty. The lechon Kewali and oxtail soup was so disappointing. The worst part was the young boy waiter who talked down to me because I did not bring my ID card to order wine. I am a 60 yr old woman and white hair showing! He made my 59 yrs old husband show his ID and made him agree to take responsibility for me having a glass of wine! He was talking to us as if we were children! He said next time, I need to bring my Id card. Very condescending. I gather he wants to do his job, but this was over kill and unnecessary and very offensive. We will never go back. It was a spontaneous decision to try this place on our way home. Not a good choice. And...the wine was not very good either.
