We were greeted with a dirty look from a grouchy face older male wiping tables, and had our order taken by a grouchy looking older female. $15 for a 'Carval Cobb Salad' that was about 90% romaine lettuce, barely any bacon, blue cheese, chicken, egg, avocado or tomato (the Cobb part of the salad). 1 tiny ranch salad dressing. It was worth maybe $8. Cute, clean place, great location, but ruined by the bad attitudes and overpriced food.

Did not try their food nor, will I ever eat at this establishment. Just bad business, I came in and just asked for napkins the auntie came behind the counter I greeted her Aloha and she asked if I had an order I was honest and said no, I just needed napkins. She then asked where I ate I said "Aloha Mamacita" then offered them a tip she refused and said in a really nasty and very rudely-aggressive tone " maybe I should go ask them?" Maybe customer service is just not what they do. Hard pass. Even came back to show I had money told me not to eat here and leave. "Aloha Mamacita" has excellent service and both Mexican and local food options ???

The owner rudely pointed at me and asked me to leave. Said I didn’t have permission to have a conversation inside. Felt very judged and blamed. I will never be back again.
The owner very rudely interrupted me in the middle of a phone call and sternly said “You are not allowed to talk here. If you had asked me I would have said no.” I felt blamed and judged for something I did not think I had to ask permission for — to have a call in a cafe. Although the ice tea was great, this experience felt like a punch to the stomach and ruined my experience here. I felt talked down to and condescended. I will not be back.

Hands down my favorite lunch spot when working downtown. Their panini and soup of the day is always terrific. I've had their French onion, tomatoe bisque, chicken soup, and corn chowder. Every one was a fully developed soup. I waxed bold and tried the grilled vegetable sandwich and was glad I did. It was so big, I had the other half the next day. PLUS, they have a scrumptious, crunchy, chocolate chip cookies that come in bags of three.I look forward to trying thr ribs soon.You'll also have a rewards option that landed me a free tea.Enjoy!
