Wife and I would wake up and walk here almost every morning. Nothing much else you can ask for, very delicious food.

It may not be an obvious restaurant, but for some reason the poke bowl here is really delicious! !

おいしいとんかつ
Finally, a place in Waikiki that I can enjoy Tonkatsu without the need of a reservation. Came here this morning and decided to come back for lunch. I had the fried rice plate from the breakfast menu and I heard the chef saying “Tonkatsu” to confirm the order. So I guess you can order lunch menu items for breakfast as well. I ate the whole plate of fried rice without taking a picture. I loved the fried eggs on top of the fried rice.
Their Tonkatsu is not the mall food court Tonkatsu, it’s well plated with salad and rice seasoned with sesame. You can tell the chef’s efforts just by the salad dressing.
It’s a cozy eatery that you can’t really see from the street but the service is excellent as well as the quality of the food preparation. I just came back from Japan and their food reminds me of all those extraordinary dining experiences I had there.
It’s great to hear that they will expand their menu and eventually resume dinner service.
Excellent food and a nice atmosphere for a quick bite.
Great food and some of the best service and conversation I have ever had from/with a restaurant crew.
The best breakfast spot in Oahu
This is a hidden gem. Fresh food made right before you. What a great place to grab breakfast. The dining area is very small but is worth it
Great service. Really good food. Love this place
Breakfast burrito was OK, iced coffee wasn't great.
My close second behind Castro’s for breakfast. Tried a poke bowl here and it didn’t disappoint as I expected worse from a cafe. Very small place so it can get crowded quick, don’t expect to find seating inside. Overall ?

I had a seared Ahi steak over rice. It was so impressive! Everything was served perfectly. A seared Ahi was cooked perfectly and even rice was so crispy. I'll definitely visit again in a week. The manager John was so friendly too. ?
Best avocado toast I ever had
Fab poke bowls
Fantastic Ahi poke! Fresh every day and you can tell it is. Can't comment on other menu items, bit the Ahi poke is the way to go. I heard the shrimp dish is also excellent!
Delicious lunch! My boyfriend and I had a poke bowl and a Hawaiian bowl (poke tuna, lomi lomi salmon and hot roast pork cooked with cabbage, served with kimchi on white rice). To drink I had a passion fruit juice by Govinda, a Hawaiian company, and my boyfriend had Kona Brewing Company Hana Lei IPA beer. Our server John was friendly and attentive, explaining the food and how it was made. John told us how the restaurant makes the poke and lomi lomi salmon in house. Tasty! John also had lots of tips for places to go out at night.
