Absolutely bangin sushi. Sometimes an order gets "dropped" and you have to ask a server for it.

Within 2 minutes of getting our food, a RAT ran down the conveyor belt. We left our mostly untouched food to get our check, the staff was kind and apologetic (but offered no discount). I thought since it was not their fault, I was fine paying our bill. But come to find out, a review from YESTERDAY said they also had a rat run out means they knew about the problem and kept letting customers come in today, business as usual. So either there is a rat infestation or they just don’t care about catching the one that keeps running through the restaurant. Either way, totally unacceptable. Really disappointed as we are local and frequent Genki Sushi often.

Within a few minutes of being seated, a RAT came running down the conveyor belt. So glad we didn't eat yet.

I am usually a fan of Genki Sushi worldwide but i didn’t like their location in Waikiki. There was a very limited of options. i ordered a poke bowl for $6.50 and left to eat elsewhere. Although the customer service there was good. I will not be going back.

We’ve been Genki fans for years. If you want really really great sushi, this is not the place. Think of it more as a fast food sushi. It’s good but it’s not fine dining. Service experience is fun with ordering in the app and the little trains zipping to your table with your order. Staff are very nice but sometimes has to be flagged down for a tea or soda refills. Great place for families. Some vegetarian/vegan options like tofu, string beans or eggplant sushi.Vegetarian options: Eggplant nigiri, string beans nigiri, tofu, seaweed salad.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly. Kids love the auto delivery of your sushi! Largest table might hold five people and no more, though.

Always my favorite at Ala Moana. The space is small and the wait is usually long for dinner but we typically go as soon as they open on a weekday and get a table immediately.

A little worn around the edges but the service and food makes up for that. Loved the Tempura Kamabocha and the Karrage Salmon.

Parking: Because it's at Ala Moana as long as it's not too crazy busy there is plenty of parking for free.

There are lanes, but the sushi doesn't rotate. The sushi you order comes to you. Place your order by scanning the QR code on your smartphone. When I used itI ordered nine dishes with red soup stock and it cost about 5,000 yen in Japanese yen.

Good service and good sushi. The trains help a lot with the kids. They use a QR code system to order and pay, which saves a lot of time. It's on the second floor and can sometimes confuse Uber drivers if you are trying to reach it quickly.

Don't go here, we were craving sushi so we were desperate and despite our immediate regret upon entry, we sat down for two plates of sushi. They have next to no variety, and it immediately set in after the first bite that it isn't fresh.Service was also lacking, with a few minute wait to just get the check even though the place was empty. It looks sad from the outside and on the inside, fully avoid this place.

Good average Genki experience with good food and great staff, but it's just small and moderately loud and isn't a break from the noise of the mall. Service is quick since it's small. Wait time is long.
