I ordered the ramen, which was one of two labeled “vegetarian” items. I confirmed it was vegan and asked for it without mushrooms, which they accommodated well. It was filling for me and delicious. I wish they offered tofu for the ramen and for the bahn mi.

Helpful employee. Clean store. Cleaning while we were there. Nice selection of Hawai’i stuff and some made in Hawai’i goods.

The restaurant is the only place in the airport that has a gluten-free option, making it a helpful choice for those with Celiac disease. Customers appreciate the friendly servers who are willing to help and the convenience of mobile payment. While some find the prices on the higher side, the overall experience is positive. Despite the busy atmosphere and some waiting time, Hawaiian Market remains a hidden gem inside the airport gates, offering tasty meals before travel.
