Ordered takeout. I’m curious to try their kalbi and poke next time, but today I was in the mood for fish, so I went with a delicious bowl of poke. It had just the right balance of fish and rice. I enjoyed the Korean pickles and seaweed salad, which added a nice contrast to the meal.

The poke was seasoned well, and the spicy salmon had a pleasant kick that wasn’t overpowering

Tried it for the very first time and it was pretty good. Spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Extensive menu as well. Specific sushi only. Nice place for a quick lunch. Be patient for parking. 🙂✌️

Honu’s Kalbi & Sushi on Kapahulu makes some pretty good food.

I ordered the Honu Special which had Kalbi, Meat Jun, Fish Jun and Mandoo. Heavy plate, big portion perfect for sharing.

The star of the show is the Kalbi. I would order that on its own next time. They also had sushi which looked pretty good. I’ll be back for sure!
