Izakaya Matsuri is a must-visit destination for sushi aficionados. The restaurant offers a no-nonsense, meticulous dining experience with fresh, flavorful sushi that is expertly prepared. The Omakase nigiri is incredible, drawing out hidden depths of flavor in each dish. The menu offers authentic Izakaya dishes, including bluefin otoro and chu-toro, as well as Hokkaido crab and uni directly from Japan. The fish is so fresh, with such flavors. The sushi chef is amazing and serves the freshest sushi as well as the other dishes ordered. The restaurant service is awesome and they make you feel like you are the only ones in the restaurant. It's a neighborhood gem, tucked away. Everything is clean, service and food is always consistently good.
