No nonsense rice and noodle dishes. The wonton noodle soup had 8 dumplings, few slices of seafood roll and some veggies. Never had such a full bowl ever. They open at 7am! It was a great start to the day. Freshly made to order. Friendly service in a barely adequate dining space.

It’s used to be Kong Kee and now called Heaven Chinese Noodle and BBQ Cafe. Right across from Royal Kitchen. This is a small place that serves simple Cantonese comfort food at very very affordable price. They are opened for dine in but could only seat around 12 people. This family run business deserves more 5-star reviews!

Nothing fancy here. Just a few tables and take out food. Cantonese comfort food. They’re famous for their jook (congee). Closes at 1PM. Closed on Tuesday.

This place is definitely as 'hole-in-the-wall' as it gets, located in the alley way to the right of Royal Kitchen. This is the place for tasty cheap-eats Chinese food. Not a big fan of their fat-noodle dishes, but definitely try their rice plates, such as their black pepper pork chop w/ rice. For the price, you get really decent food! There's free 30-min validated parking in the back (entrance @ Kukui st) where the Chinese School is.

Kong Kee Chinese Fast Food is a very good place for congee/porridge, Chinese fried bread (you tiao) and look fun at a very good price. Would recommend.

I'm slowly knockin' off a few bookmarks on my list & upon reading my Yelp buddies - Angel H., the funny Val Y., & of course the mayor of Chinatown Paul C. reviews, I really had to give this place a try. I love noodles! I mostly dig the Vietnamese & Chinese type of noodles, so I'm glad I made my way down to Kong Kee Chinese Fast Food in the Chinese Cultural Center with my friend today. Kong Kee Chinese Fast Food is a little shop just next door to the "Royal Kitchen", and this place definitely qualifies as a hole in the wall joint! Upon walking into the joint, I could see there where just a few tables within the place. We walked up to the ordering counter and ordered our noodles, then we looked around to find an open table within the restaurant to sit & eat. When your food is ready, someone will bring it out from the kitchen, and drop it off to your table. The lady who dropped off our food, was also nice enough to drop off some hot tea for us too. We ordered the following today - 1. Seafood with Vegetables on Crispy Noodles 2. Seafood with Vegetables on Chow Fun Overall, for what you pay, and what you got.......it was a pretty good deal! They gave a lot of seafood (Fish & Shrimp), but I thought it was a bit weird that they put Kamaboko (Japanese Fishcake) with this dish, but whatever........it still tasted good. They also added a very generous portion of veggies too (which I liked). My chow fun noodles were fresh, and it tasted real good! My friend who ordered the crispy noodles, said it was pretty good too! The crispy noodles came out hot, & crispy (as advertised). Tip - This hole in the wall place doesn't appear to be the cleanest looking restaurant, and the seats in the restaurant has seen better days. Let's put it this way..........if I were on a date, I would never take a girl here, as you will not get any brownie points (if you know what I mean). But if you're looking for some ono tasty Chinese home cooking.........it's a pretty good place to go. Also, I wanted to point this out to you folks, as it can get a wee bit confusing in finding this place if you're trying to find this place from the River Street side. If you look for "Royal Kitchen", Kong Kee Chinese Fast Food is just next door to your right, and I say this because if you're entering from the River Street side, there is absolutely no signage of "Kong Kee Chinese Fast Food", but if you enter from the mall side, there is signage where you will see the big red "Kong Kee Chinese Fast Food" sign. Parking for this place is in the Chinese Cultural Plaza, but we parked some place else, as we had other places we wanted to visit today. If you're Chinese speaking, it would probably help you in coming to this place, as when we were ordering our food & speaking English, the young Chinese girl had a little trouble understanding us today.

This restaurant is a great find in Chinatown. My mom has been coming here forever, but I never got around to it. We finally made it out here today with her. People in the know come here for the rice and noodle dishes. The prices are fairly reasonable and the food is awesome. The portions are ridiculously huge. I can't even explain to you where this place is located. It's at the Chinese Cultural Plaza, around the corner from Royal Kitchen. That's the easiest way to find it. The place is tiny with five dining tables. Since it was Mother's Day and we got here around noon, mostly everything was sold out. We got the last two pieces of char siu. The flavor was really good and the meat was tender. I wanted jook with the fried bread sticks, but that was out also. We settled on boneless chicken with curry on rice, dry chow fun with beef & vegetables, and seafood with vegetables on fried noodle. All three dishes were good. The seafood with fried noodles could have used more seafood. However, for $6.75 I can't complain. I thought that it was the fried crispy noodles but it wasn't. When it came out it was the soft, thin, Chinese noodles. It was just stir fried and not crispy at all. I still enjoyed it with the red vinegar. The best dish was the dry chow fun with beef. The beef was thin and tender. The chow fun had this chewiness to it that I like. I looked behind the counter and saw them cooking it on the wok with the huge flames. Park in the garage. It's a dollar an hour with validation. Remember to bring your ticket with you to have them validate it.

I love it!! It's definitely one of my favorite Chinese restaurant on Oahu!! Everything that we ordered was tasty; especially shrimp fried rice was super delicious and I loved their fried dumplings!! The portion is pretty big and super cheap!! I would definitely come back and try their other food :)

Got some steamed cherng fun and iced tea with lemon here. The ice tea was too sweet after I told her 'less sugar" and then steamed cherng fun was too thick. No dried shrimp. I think it's like a simple HK cafe.
