Make a reservation for right before sunset and enjoy a really nice view. The surf ‘n turf with a blue Hawaii was outstanding. Host staff is inviting and our waiter was very attentive.
The staff had our requested table reserved and ready. Our service and servers were attentive and pleasant. Now for the view--outstanding! Drinks were delightful, not too strong or weak. Food well-presented and tasty.
I want to share something that happened to my friend Richard on his birthday. Richard is legally blind and relies on his trained guide dog to navigate the world. He and his family went to Lulu’s Waikiki to celebrate. They were seated and enjoying their time when, almost an hour later, a restaurant staff member silently dropped a printed checklist about his guide dog onto the table — no explanation, no offer to read it aloud. Think about that: handing a piece of paper to a blind man and expecting him to read it. When the issue was brought to Richard’s attention, he immediately complied and adjusted his guide dog's position. But instead of treating him with kindness and dignity, the managers spoke to him and his family rudely and asked them to leave the restaurant — on his birthday. This wasn’t just bad customer service. It showed a complete lack of understanding of ADA rights and basic human decency. This was a situation with a highly trained guide dog, not an emotional support animal. She is a legitimate guide dog, trained to help Richard safely navigate the world. No one should be treated the way Richard and his family were. I hope Lulu’s Waikiki takes this experience as a wake-up call to learn how to be ADA compliant and train their staff on how to treat disabled guests with respect and compassion. Everyone deserves dignity. Please share to help spread awareness. Disabilities aren't always visible — but respect should always be.
My friend is BLIND They walked in wanting breakfast. A Lady slammed a piece of paper down on his table and expected him to understand. They were treated so poorly and unprofessional. Thrown OUT of the restaurant. The Restaurant is deflecting this situation with lies and excuses. No one apologized. They claim to love Animals. They created and escalated this situation and traumatized a BLIND MAN. SELFISH. CHILDISH. UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. PLEASE NEVER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. At LULUS WAIKIKI Hawaii
The food, drinks and service was great. Max our server the athletic girls at the front desk were extremely nice and helped us in every way. Thank you
Absolutely amazing. We sat at the counter, looking out at waikiki beach. Saw a gorgeous sunset while holding a beverage and eating delicious poke nachos (these are my favorite thing I've had so far this trip). Waiter (connor) was attentive and friendly. Good to know: there are a lot of stairs to get up to the restaurant. Didn't see an elevator but someone else mentioned there is one.
We celebrated my parents' 80th birthdays with an 8-top. Menu had something for every palate, wait staff were kind and attentive, and the ocean view and breeze set the scene.
This is a loud venue with no ambience whatsoever and mediocre food. If you are a college student it may appeal everyone else should go elsewhere
Food was awesome! Service was great! We all got different things - steak, chicken wings, loco moco, chicken tenders even! Everything was really good. It was in a great spot too.
Great menu and gluten free menu! One of the only spots with gluten free eats on the Main Street.

We made a reservation for a table in the restaurant and they tried to seat us in the bar at a high top. It was hot in there so we asked to move and the hostess was not happy about it. The server was okay. Too shy for a waiter IMO. The drinks were terrible. I tried a pina colada and a glass of wine and both were awful. The salad was not good. Overcooked chicken and just a weird combo of ingredients. And the chairs were so loud. Combined with the loud voices and music, the ambience was like a bad bar. Good views. Dirty menus. Would not return.
Great food. Great drinks. Awesome atmosphere 🤙

Such a great spot!
We had the cutest waitress, her name is Julia and she was extremely attentive and gave the best recommendations. You can tell that she likes working here. The food that she recommended was amazing. I had the Mango Sweet Chili Cauliflower and it was the perfect mixture of spice and sweetness. Drinks a little pricey but that’s to expect in Hawaii. The restaurant has a beautiful setting with open sides toward the beach. One side effect of that are the birds picking around your feet but that didn’t really bother us. Will come back here!

the staff doesn’t deserve even one star... it’s was just horrible experience..I tried to order for take-out acai bowl and breakfast burrito (is that so difficult?) and the staff didn’t even try to help me, on the contrary, they continued to add ingredients I didn’t need to my receipt). in the end, I wasted a lot of time and went to another place where other staff who are more helpful immediately brought me my ordered food…
