Happened to stumble on this small little shop while working. I ordered the shiso konbu rice ball and salmon rice ball. They were $2 each. The rice was so nice and soft. The konbu one was my favorite. I think if they smoked the salmon it would be even better. Great place to get a small snack or a light lunch. The man at the cashier was busy on his computer even though the shop was empty so I didn't want to ask him any questions. If you are really hungry you might have to buy several rice balls to be full but the rice is oh so nice!

Located in a small plaza with a lot of random stores, I was leaving the bank and spotted this small little store that said musubi. Being from California I didn't know there was such a thing as stores dedicated to just musubi. Open at 730 am, this place is amazing. The best selection of spam musubi I've ever seen and for a great, reasonable price. Want to try the poke next time I go, as it looked super fresh and great bang for your buck. I had the salmon, unagi and egg and spam musubis, all an absolute must try.

Best musubi I've had on the island. Haven't had the poke yet because it sells out fast!

Another hidden gem! Located right before Waikiki, Omusubi Gaba is highly suggested for that not-quite-hungry, just-wanna-snack, something-to-hold-me-over place to go. On this visit, there were fewer than 5 musubis made and ready to purchase. However, the cashier informed us that we're welcomed to order fresh ones if we didn't see the variety we were craving. With imported rice, their musubis are definitely recommended! My favorites (always), we're the konbu and salmon

Yes, this place makes very good musubis. Better than Musubi Cafe Iyasume. The difference is in their rice. Just like a good quality sushi place, the chef here care a lot about the quality of their rice. There is a catch, you have to go early, we went there at 11 and there were only small qty left. The musubi Portion is smaller than the other place so it makes them more expensive. Next time I'm in town will definitely go early. Highly recommended. T (Taste) = 9 A (Ambiance) = 7 B (Bill) = 7 S (Service) = 8

We ordered poke bowls and asked for soy sauce. The lady said they don't have it because we don't need it. Yep she was right .

Fantastic experience! The food was high quality and oh my gosh- so, so good. This place is located in a cute little area with outdoor seating around koi ponds, but I wouldn't plan on eating there, just in case, during busy hours because there were only a couple of tables. Service was A+!

Order the Musubi but everything else I ordered sucked. I had the meatballs was dry and hard today I ordered the steak and it was dry and hard but the musubis are good. They should stick to what they good at.

Hidden gem....delicious fresh tuna shoya poke and the spam musabi was one of the best I've tasted. This is a small carry out place. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. Great place to walk to when you're hungry for a quick bite!

Yes! Yes! Super good food. I was looking for some Poke but wasn't looking to spend a fortune. I found this place the last time I was here and they were out of the Spicy Ahi Poke. This time I made sure I called like other Yelpers have suggested. The person on the phone was fantastic. I told her i would be there in a few minutes as I was staying right around the corner. Went in and she asks if I was the person on the phone because she saved the last of the Spicy Ahi Poke for me. Wow! Awesome food and so flavorful. What knocked this out of the park was the price. Super food at a reasonable price. Thank you so much.

We needed to find a place where we can pickup some musubi so that we can head to the beach for some snorkeling. I was so glad they opened at 7:30am because I wanted to pickup early and go snorkel early. We got there just around the time they opened so their shelf was still empty but someone in the back was already making them fresh. We picked up 10 musubi and left. Price seems affordable, around $2.00-3.00 each. Great snack / quick lunch for a day at the beach. They are convenient and easy to carry around. No spilling of food or liquid. Easy peasy and perfect for kids to grab and eat when they get hungry. Will come back again for sure if we crave some musubi. If you are debating, I suggest giving this place a try.

Cute hole in the wall, my go to lunch place near my office. Poke is made fresh daily so get there soon after they start selling at 10am to grab before they sell out. My favorite is the spicy ahi, and it's always a treat when they have the spicy inari. If it's not available but there's inari on the shelf, you can try asking for them to add the spicy ahi on top!

One of my favorite musubi shops because their rice is so good, you can taste the difference. I can't really explain why but it just tastes so much better (it's not as hard as some musubis can be). They are located in Eaton Square and have a variety of different filling options. My favorite is the spam musubi and the inari. They also have poke bowls which and also delicious and reasonably priced. Warning: they sometimes run out of certain musubis, so call ahead of time if you want something specific. If not you'll have to wait till they make the next batch of fresh musbuis.

If you stay close to this little take out shop, get all your musubis here. It's about a 7 minute walk from the Grand waikikian / Lagoon tower side of the HHV. The prices are cheap with their cheapest Musubi at 2 dollars a pop. The rice is soft and not mushy. Yes the rice does make a difference. They have a selection from salmon, tuna mayo, spicy tuna, ume, spam Musubi, etc. Their shapes are the traditional triangle shape and of course the rectangular shape we are familiar with state side. They also have tuna poke bowls , they recommend you make a reservation to pick up since they sell out quick. This place has tasty little musubis and for around twenty bucks, you can have two filled belly's. Also makes for some great snacks for on the go.
