Overall experience was great. I brought my boss, who was visiting from the mainland, for pau hana. There were two beverage tasting menu specials, one still from Valentine's, and one for the Chinese New Year, along with their regular cocktail/beer/wine/etc menu. We both made selections from the Chinese New Year menu. She chose the item that was accompanied with a horse lanyard, and my beverage came with an envelope to choose from with a gift inside, which was a nice surprise....
Great find in heart of downtown and super convenient for Hawaii Theatre nearby. The cocktails were super creative, espesh Holiday Specials. My friend had scallops which were superb! I loved apps of scrumptious fried brussels with cranberries, salmon dip and chopped salad add their special bacon chunks! Will def return when in area!
I work in downtown close by, but have only gone here for dinner during the holidays when they light the place up so beautifully. The cocktail menu is one of the more creative and whimsical in town this time of year - and you will pay for it - but for an occasional splurge is OK. Practically everything we have ever ordered has been good! Shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, fish and chips (authentic) and those oddly green bao buns, make the menu an adventure. Gotta try lunch...
