Just loooove this place. Quick, attentive and clean . My favorite is roasted duck noodle soup. Duck is succulent and skins are nicely roasted/crunchy. Noodle is chewy and soup.. not oily and salty. Perfect portion.

Been here before for breakfast. I love Hong Kong set breakfast. This time we came for lunch. The noodles are very good. The broth was flavorful. I did not get swollen or thirsty after the meal. The house made chili oil had a good spice level. I was able to handle it. The milk tea is close to what I get in Hong Kong.

I've been to Sandy's Cafe a bunch of times so this review is really long overdue. I have to say that I love Won Ton Min. I have had my fair share of this dish from around the world and let me tell you this is one of my favorite places to go. The duck here is also great as well.If you are ever in the area and looking for something new to try, I would highly recommend this spot. You will not regret it!

Not good at all. Had a co-worker rave about it. Saying the roast duck and char siu was life changing. First off they forgot the ginger scallion sauce for the cold ginger chicken plate and for a combo plate as well. I got the roast duck plate and a side of char siu. Roast duck- not enough flavor and small portion. Char siu- really dry and no flavor.

Brother-in-law Craig T pick my wife and myself up again to eat across the street. Now that we live in the China Town area, Sandy's will be our go-to for the items I just mentioned. Located in the Chinese Cultural Plaza, with the entrance on the Nuuanu stream side. The interior is simple, with just a few Chinese decorations. Service was excellent. The only thing for me is that the Char Sui they serve is all lean. I like a little fat. Well, that's me. Enjoy

During the Winter break I'm been eating good Chinese food . The other day Hong Kong noodle house and today Sandy Cafe . I heard their Char Siu and roast duck is one of the best on the Island . Picked up my sister and brother-in-law and we headed down to Sandy Cafe for lunch . Thanks to Paul C. my Yelp buddy he recommended Sandy Cafe has one of the best Char Siu . So I ordered the Char Siu over rice and their Char Siu was very good plus it was very lean. Some places their Char Siu is hard and burnt at the ends My sister ordered their cold ginger chicken and that was very good as well. Also the ginger sauce was unreal over a bed of rice . Very friendly service and efficient nice amount of tables in their dinning room . I highly recommend this place for good Char Siu, Duck, and Cold Ginger Chicken . Support local I'll be back and try something else Next time

And I can't forget our auntie Nadine C for she has gone over here too also yelping this place also. Service was fast and brought everything to us without waiting a long time. Located close to my apt but I still drive there and walk the short distance. Lol.. if you like good char siu and roast duck this is the place to go. I know they're other places to go but thanks to these yelpers who went there also.

We love going to Sandy’s Cafe for lunch. They serve the most authentic Hong Kong style dishes. The food is delicious! The service is quick and the servers are all very friendly.
Best rock duck for party moist and and tasty. Ginger chicken also excellent local hangout that serves excellent food.You can tell how good food is by people waiting and how busy till afternoon.

Coworker raved about their minute chicken over cake noodle. Finally got a chance to try it today. Big chunks of chicken, love that they use a skinny noodle and the sauce is tasty. Probably my new favorite cake noodle dish. Also the chili sauce is ono with this.

It's kind of sad to say but I didn't have a great ending with my meal today. Everything was going great with the service and the meal, but when I had my dessert (a mango pudding) I found a fly or a mosquito in it. I showed it to my friends and they all saw the bug inside, but when I showed the waitress, she just took the cup inside the kitchen (so I don't have a picture of it). We thought she was just showing it to the manager to discuss the compensate, but she just returned and said sorry. And the sorry didn't come right away when we showed her, it came after she came back from the kitchen, and the bug inside of pudding was really obvious. Also they didn't do anything, no money back or even just give another pudding. I would be fine even if they said some kind of way to solve it, but they didn't do anything. Now thinking back, maybe it was because I already paid and gave tip when I was eating the desserts (I had a good experience before I found the bug), so maybe they thought it was OK to just say sorry because I already paid. In all it was pretty good but I really don't like how it ended and how they solve the issue.

Delicious snow cabbage shredded pork noddles! That's one of my go-to dishes for brunch at a HK restaurant and so glad they had it! Their roasted birds looked really good too! The place was clean And spacious so that's the advantage over some other noodles spots in Chinatown when it's cramped and old. The food quality was pretty good too and the service was prompt and friendly. It's easy to park at Chinatown cultural plaza and walk there. I think it's safer than street parking and the fees were very affordable.
