Split property. You all into a steakhouse look and make a right to their sushi side that has more of a typical diner style sushi place. It was fine but nothing special. Food was good, service was fine. Nothing terrible to say. More about the broader spectrum of restaurants but what is the deal with no coasters for drinks. For this warm and humid weather everything sweats and you end up with lakes of water on your table. This place covers their cloth table covers with plexiglass....
We love sensei we've been to both locations on Maui and enjoy our time there and the food. Our waiter here in Waikiki was exceptional and made the accommodations for little things we asked for and was really friendly, which made the experience even better. Thank you for the personal touch and the lovely food 
Restaurant was not very crowded. Our waitress Brie was awesome!! Fun, personable and knowledgeable She helped to make our dining experience great. The food came out quickly, and the quality was very good.
