Best place on island to enjoy spicy items if you’re looking for spicy food.
Of course the food here is great, you can ask for no spice.
We enjoy all the dishes, Get: beef noodle soup, pork sauce noodles, spicy eggplant and the best popcorn chicken number 5! ( only try number 5 if you love the heat )

If you think you can handle some spice because you eat salsa and chips ask for level 0
If you're Mexican get level 1
If you're hardcore Mexican, Thai spicy, spicy okole is ok with you person, get level 2 and above.

Absolutely amazing food. I’d been craving beef noodles since I returned from Taiwan and these didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be returning!

They serve typical Taiwanese dishes. It’s a longtime local-Taiwanese flavor restaurant. The place has been renewal and Great to try it out 👍

We tried the braised pork meal and ordered these at level 2 spicy: dragon dumplings, popcorn chicken, and beef noodle soup. If you’re sensitive to heat, go with level 1 because the hot spice packs a punch! The popcorn chicken was tender, juicy, and delicious. Everything was great. We just ate at the market and was full but decided to try the beef noodle soup and it was worth it. The handmade noodles had the perfect texture.

Food was solid, quite expensive for Taiwanese food though. Also spoke them in mandarin and nobody seemed to understand, not sure if they’re Taiwanese, if that matters to you. Beef noodle soup is quite spicy but tasty!

I'm white and Asian--I can't handle spicy, but I know good food.

If you like just a little spicy, order NO SPICY. The server will kindly ask you on a scale of 1-5, but you tell them ZERO.

If you like serious heat, tell them any number on that scale, and put on some armor because Guan Yu, himself, will meet you.

I wish we were informed that the meat lovers soup had pork intestine. Maybe the future menu could point that out.

Positive things:

The classic beef noodle soup broth is truly original and fragrant. The meat is tender. I've lived in Taiwan, and this was delicious.

The garlic cabbage wasn't overcooked. The texture was just right. I highly recommend it.

The good was service was fine and friendly. The atmosphere was just average- it is a normal little restaurant. The food is not Taiwanese. It doesn’t taste like any Chinese food I have had. The dumplings were okay. The eggplant, had some strange sauce and the beef tendon had a bunch of ground weird meat on top, neither of these dishes was good. We left without finishing. I lived in Taiwan for over eleven years.

If you have been to Taiwan and tried authentic Taiwanese food, this place is no where near authentic! We ordered chive dumplings, eggplant and beef tendon. It’s very disappointing,

Popcorn chicken awesome, just remember can be a bit spicy after level 3, onion egg pancake awesome and dumplings cant go wrong. Relatively small spot, parking in the cpc parking lot.
