This review is over 20 years overdue. i just read a review stating that the "spicy tofu soup" was not spicy but the staff was super friendly. I can attest to the staff's friendliness. As for the soup, we order soondubu jiggae, extra spicy and it has always been great. Unsure if the reviewer meant Soondubu jiggae which is seafood soft tofu soup or kimchi jiggae which typically comes with firm tofu. We love this restaurant and especially now that they have moved locations. The Koi ponds lend a special atmosphere in addition to the delicious food. We love the kalbi and grilled yellow corvina fish the most. My partner particularly enjoys tongue and the beef tartare. We usually order prepared food but they also have the option for you to grill there. The aunties will usually jump in to help if you need. We ordered Combo Kalbi & Fish Jun. Plus a main entree of Kalbi. The food was amazing. Kalbi was cooked perfectly med rare & vary tasty. The Fish Jun (Mahi) melted in my mouth. The batter could've been better. All the side dishes were fresh & complimented the entrees. Each entree was pricey ($44) but tasty. Older "Aunty" servers were nice- & should've pre-bussed our table throughout dinner. Overall- very good experience. Will return.
