It’s Starbucks in Waikiki. Overpriced coffee in an over priced area. The staff alone deserve a five star review. I’ve been multiple times and there always friendly.

Great Starbucks in Waikiki

This is my favorite Starbucks. As I’ve been going to PT two mornings a week, I’ve been stopping here for iced green tea and bacon-Gruyère egg bites afterward. All the baristas at the register are kind and friendly. Because I have been using a walker lately, they have been delivering my order to the table, which has been greatly appreciated.

I should have read the reviews. The only reason we walked halfway across Waikiki was for the Reserve coffee. If it hasn’t been a Reserve for over nine months, the least they could do is change the Google listing. As others have mentioned, most of the staff is pretty blasé about their service.

This is a store with TERRIBLE customer service! I would recommend using another stores.We did not buy a drink, just a mug, and the young blonde white female cashier insisted on tipping us.When she saw that we had not paid the tip on the credit card transaction screen, she tapped the box and urged us to pay the tip in cash. She stared at us until we left the counter without handing it back to her.The price per mug is higher than the price per drink, so from this staff member's point of view, it was probably a missed opportunity for a hefty tip, but it was not worth paying a tip for this kind of customer service!!I think this is a problem with this store or this female staff member, as I was never asked for a tip at any of the other Outrigger stores I visited during my stay (there was not even a selection screen to begin with) and I received Pleasant service with a smile on my face.I strongly recommend that you try another Starbucks , as they do not have a special menu and the mugs are the same as at the other locations.This is a store with terrible customer service. We recommend using another store.We didn't buy drinks, just mugs, but the young blonde white female staff member who was in charge of the cash register persistently asked for a tip.The moment she found out that I had not paid the tip on the card payment screen, she asked me to pay the tip in cash by banging on the box. She was very coercive, so when I refused, she threw the receipt and threw it at me. He then placed the mugs we had purchased in a messy paper bag and glared at us until we left the counter without handing them over.The mug costs more than the drink, so I guess this staff member missed out on a big tip, but this kind of customer service was not worth every dollar.During my stay, I used the Outrigger store and the Airport store in addition to this store, but neither store asked for a tip (there wasn't even a selection screen in the first place), and I received pleasant customer service with a smile. I think this is a problem with this store or this female clerk.It seems to be a Starbucks Reserve store, but it doesn't have a special menu and the mugs provided were the same as other stores, so I highly recommend using a different store.
