Always a classic and still one of the best traditional Omakase experiences you can get anywhere. Only 8 seats, but we got them to squeeze one more on the end. Mahalos for another great night Sushi Sho!
I’ve had a lot of fancy meals in a lot of fancy places and this was one of the more magical experiences. Would recommend without reservation or concern.
In reading other reviews I don’t think the add on feedback is fair—it’s pretty common for omakase spots on the west coast and the pricing was reasonable per slice. I can’t speak to the decline in food quality since my first time was Oct 25 but everything I had was wonderful with a clear POV

A Sublime Omakase Experience at Sushi Sho
As someone who truly loves omakase, Sushi Sho earns a wholehearted five stars from me. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. The omotenashi—Japanese hospitality—was deeply thoughtful, blending the elegance of Japanese tradition with a subtle infusion of local culinary elements. What impressed me most was how this fusion never disrupted the refined Japanese sensibility; instead, it elevated it.
