“Tried its popular Da Original Steak Roll plate that came with 2 scoops of rice and some leafy greens. The roll was made from thinly sliced steak and shredded potato. Combining with its sweet sour soy sauce, this made a delicious lunch. The meat was tender and flavorful, unfortunately there weren’t too much meat in this plate lunch that costed $20.“

“Quite possibly the best tasting steak I have had in a very long time… and I frequent steak houses back home in AZ. This was delicious and fast service. Presentation of food looks just like the display case. Food was just under $30 but it was enough food for my husband and I to share.“

“We went there considering the reviews and weren't disappointed, we arrived at 1:30 PM, nobody inside so we didn't have to wait any minute, the lady was super nice with us, let us have the mild pad Thai and then let us put some chili if to our convenience.
The pad Thai is super good, we really appreciated the seasoning.
I got the chicken pad Thai while my partner got the tofu pas Thai, both very good.
Great place overall that we can recommend you !“

“It’s always a great experience at Tanaka of Tokyo East location! We had a table to ourselves this time which was lovely! We’ve seen the show many times so this was actually a nice change to just enjoy a nice meal. Joe and Eddie were great! Loved Eduard, the manager. Had a nice conversation about the old days when this was located at Kings Village. Thanks again!!“

“Delicious.
Wagyu⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐along with okonomiyaki, yakisoba were all really good
The other steak we got was not as good but I think it's because the wagyu was delicious. Clams, grilled vegs, cheese dish (cant remember the name), garlic fried rice, along with some others were just okay in comparison.
But overall, a really outstanding and memorable meal in Honolulu. Worth visiting for sure.“

“Great cozy Japanese izakaya at McCully Street Shopping Centre. The food menu was good and had a variety.
Drinks menu were good too. Overall, service was friendly and the servers would help make recommendations for food and drinks. Worth a visit if one has hunger pangs at night as it closes at 1am.“
