High class Teppanyaki establishment. We requested a private room for 4 and had the chef all to ourselves . There are three meal choices: 1. Miyabi $500 per person 2. Tsubaki. $300p 3. Sakura. $250p ( see menu options below in my pics) This dining experience was spectacular . The attention to detail was beyond expectations. They even give you a bib to keep clean . There's were many sweet surprises throughout the meal . Definitely a special occasion restaurant due to the price. Enjoy the experience!

Simply incredible. I have never had better food or more attentive service. The Kobe upgrade was well worth it. An unparalleled dining experience.

Very attentive service and nice food! They have kobe beef and use high quality produce. Probably best teppanyaki place in Hawaii.

4.5/4.75 stars! One of the best meals I've had and the best dining experience in Hawaii. Even though its location is off the beaten path of Waikiki, it's a hidden gem with culinary expertise that is a treat for your senses. From the moment we were greeted at the door to the moment the chef thanked us outside the restaurant after our exceptional meal, we thoroughly enjoyed the lovely teppanyaki experience. This is a splurge delicious dining experience. The minimum is $100 per person I believe, and the course menus of $250 or $300 are recommended. You will be pleasantly surprised that the wonderful service you receive is already included in the course price. You can add a la carte items such as more vegetables selections and upgrade the beef to Miyazaki or Kobe. The restaurant is the only one in Hawaii and 1 of 10 restaurants in the States that serve Kobe beef. Try the Tojo bijin sake that has a nice sweet finish. We opted for the $250 course without the Kobe sandwich and it was already plenty of food. The Omi beef that comes with the course is already very tasty, but the Miyazaki upgrade is even more tender and marbled. I imagine the Kobe would be even more amazing! Each dish is beautiful as well as tasty. The abalone is fresh and perfectly cooked; even the innards taste great. The finger lime sorbet is an unique palate cleanser. You get to pick 2 types of vegetables from the veggie crate. We love the Okinawa sweet potatoes and beets. I probably will add more vegetable selections a la carte as they were excellent. One area for improvement is the fried rice could be fluffier and perhaps add an egg, but maybe that's not the traditional Japanese style. The matcha tiramisu comes in a cute little planter pot for dessert. Overall, super recommend this restaurant for a fun delicious 2 hours plus dining experience. You can book the private room that seats 7 people comfortably that requires a $1000 minimum which would be easily satisfied with 4 people or so. We went at 5:30pm and it ended up being a private dining experience as the other party was at 7:30pm. Make reservation in advance and let them know if you prefer certain type of meat or seafood and they will try their best to accommodate, but keep in mind this is a Japanese beef specializing restaurant. Love this authentic teppanyaki restaurant!
