High class Teppanyaki establishment. We requested a private room for 4 and had the chef all to ourselves . There are three meal choices: 1. Miyabi $500 per person 2. Tsubaki. $300p 3. Sakura. $250p ( see menu options below in my pics) This dining experience was spectacular . The attention to detail was beyond expectations. They even give you a bib to keep clean . 4.5/4.75 stars! One of the best meals I've had and the best dining experience in Hawaii. Even though its location is off the beaten path of Waikiki, it's a hidden gem with culinary expertise that is a treat for your senses. From the moment we were greeted at the door to the moment the chef thanked us outside the restaurant after our exceptional meal, we thoroughly enjoyed the lovely teppanyaki experience. I got the $250 set menu + $80 kobe upgrade + 2 beers and the total came out to be $378. They explicitly said no tips. :) The only difference between the $250 and $300 menu is you get a wagyu burger with $300 menu. Before the main course was served, the chef put a live and moving abalone in front of me and left it there for 5 mins, which made me wonder do I eat this live or what. Luckily I refrained from eating it and the chef started cooking it. The A5 kobe steak was very good....read full review
