This place is probably better in the morning, but it isn’t great in the evening. Came here at 7. I stood at the counter for about five minutes while they ignored me. When they finally came to take my order they said they don’t do lattes in the evening, so I had to modify my order to one bullet coffee and one black coffee with no milk. They messed up the order and I had to wait another 5 minutes for them to fix it. All in all, to get a black coffee and a latte...
The Sunrise Shack… what a great way to start the day. Love the vibes!! I ordered coffee and a small tropical bowl: Mango, pineapple, banana, coconut milk, dates; topped with pineapple, pitaya sauce, granola, coconut flakes, honey. Delicious!! Fresh and flavorful. Great service!! The line was pretty long, but as expected. I suggest looking at the menu online so you have an idea of what to order and that you don’t hold up the line. 😊 Be efficient...
think the sunrise shack is an overall good standard staple you can get breakfast or a quick snack at. My wife liked her meal, Monkey Toast and coffee, both pretty good. My açaí bowl had a left a lot to desired. Large frozen chunks, not a ton of toppings on it kind of made it boring and hard to eat. It tasted good but that isn’t everything. We went to the Waikīkī beach location and they were slammed so it maybe that’s why. I do love their merch and sticker selection! Easily...
