Amazingly delicious food. Portions are quite big, so take that in to consideration when ordering. I had the fish tacos and they were devine. The place is a bit hard to find, but well worth it.

Gem of an institution!Had a lovely fresh burrito bowl with rice and beans, veggies and shredded chicken. It came with chips and cheese and salsa.Highly recommend this quality food, walking distance from the beach in Waikiki .

In a quest for the best tacos in Oahu, I found Tlacuaches808 just around the corner from where I was staying. Ordered the birria tacos. The birria was pretty good; not as good as my cousin's but really good. For Oahu, I guess. My main gripe is the plating. The plating could have been done better. In the container was a good amount of what tasted like hot Pace picante sauce. This made the tacos a little too soggy and not something that normally goes with birria tacos. Some salsa roja may go better. There was also some lettuce. Lettuce only goes with taco bell tacos. No lettuce. The consommé was delicious especially with the extra birria that was in it. The horchata was good. Really sweet but I never object to extra sugar. If Tlacuache wants to step up their game, make some quesabirria tacos. Thanks for a little taste of home!
