This is one of those hidden- in-the-industrial-area of Mapunapuna gems that you need in your life!!In all honesty, I haven't tried anything else from here besides the fried rice. It's everything you want in fried rice... it's greasy, peppery, full of flavor and absolutely satisfying and caloric to carry you through the day! My brother works at Penske nearby and introduced me and my mom to this place. The owner is very accommodating if you have children and you call him up requesting fried rice with very little pepper. The weekend rice is okay but not the same as is during the weekday. It's a sibling/chef thing. You can call ahead to make an order or order in person. The rest of the menu seems pretty good if you are working in the area or diving past it though I highly recommend the fried rice. This joint is as independent business owned as you can get- so support local and try it!

Food truck at mapunapuna! Opens early! Good breakfast! Call ahead for faster service! Phone number is posted all over the posters and menu. From what I see it seems to be CASH ONLY! So make sure to have cash on you. The prices are reasonable and portions are worth it. I spent $11 per plate because I got 2 choice of meat. Luncheon meat and corned beef hash. $7 if you only order 1 meat. Also comes with Rice or toast and egg scramble or over easy. The corned beef if cooked perfectly with crisp at the edges! And that's what I loved about my food! It's very hard to find a good nicely cooked corned beef hash! Everything Ofcourse tasted well as you would expect it.It is in an industrial area a lot of morning workers come here for breakfast you'll notice the crowd. It's in the corner and you'll see a big sign.

This is my go to spot for breakfast before work! He opens at 4:30a and takes phone orders as well as walk ups. I suggest calling in your order cuz he gets pretty busy. I've tried pretty much every thing on the menu. Breakfast plates $6 comes with your choice of meat, 2 eggs, and 2 scoops rice. Both fried rice and kimchee fried rice plates are mean. Locomoco is good but doesn't have mac salad In the plate lol. Breakfast sandwiches are grilled and also yummy. Only thing I don't recommend is his saimin. It's an instant korean ramen for $7(not worth it). Would be a little better if he spruced it up with green onions, spam, and eggs lol. Over all tho this breakfast truck is a diamond in the rough.

Needed some fried rice before hopping on a flight. The second I opened the plate I knew I found the right spot. Fried Rice was the bomb. Mahalo, brother.

Nestled amongst all kinds of industrial businesses, this stationary food truck serves up a solid, affordable breakfast. And some of the best fried rice on the island. To temper your expectations, the guy is kinda rude (older, busy and doesn't give af which I can respect), he only takes cash, and you don't want to look too closely at how clean he keeps the truck. As you can see from the menu photos here on Yelp, there's nothing fancy or gourmet about what you'll be having for breakfast. Also, there's nowhere to sit and eat, and you'll likely be forced to park in a tow zone, so plan on taking your food to go, quickly. Anyhoo, I went with portuguese sausage, eggs and rice--wife got the fried rice. There were some interesting folks milling about, so we stood way off to the side while Mr. Grumpy Pants got cooking. My breakfast was standard, but the over-easy eggs were cooked to absolute perfection. Popped the yolks over my two scoops rice, and it was ono. Could have used some salt and pepper, but the sausage probably maxed out my salt intake anyway. Now, the fried rice. The menu doesn't clarify what goes into it, but I think that was spam. It wasn't a huge portion but more than enough. Unlike most places that cook for the masses, it was thoroughly and perfectly seasoned with a kick of extra black pepper. Rice was tender and the ratio of rice to meat/veg was perfect. If you're in the area, short on cash and hungry for homestyle breakfast, be sure to stop by!
