Waikiki Starlight Luau offers an excellent dining experience with a variety of delicious food selections, including gluten-free desserts. The premier seating is well worth the extra cost, providing a fabulous show even when held indoors due to weather. The performers are described as awesome and very entertaining, although some guests found the emcee's dialogue to be offensive. While the food quality was mixed, with some dishes being dry or tough, the overall performance mostly made up for the meal. This luau is a suitable option for guests staying at the Hawaiian Village Resort who prefer not to leave the premises, though there may be better alternatives available.
