“This is our second time getting fruit smoothies for my husband. I, for my second time, tried a different type of tea smoothie. They were delicious each time. Thank youDietary restrictions: I'm keto, so my tea's I asked for no sugar added. They also gave me almond milk instead of regular milk. So, in the end, it was a delicious treat that was as close to 100% keto as possible. Thank you so much for going out of your way to help me enjoy a treat. I highly recommend this place!“
“Cute, casual, open-air place with shaded seating. Friendly, easygoing atmosphere. Shave ice is a bowl of loosely flaked ice with sweet flavored syrup, eaten with a spoon and straw. Refreshing on a hot day. Our vegan family got "ice only" fruit flavors, hence vegan ($4 a bowl). I enjoyed my combo pineapple and li hing (salted dried plum) shave ice. Vegetarians and omnivores can gild the lily by adding (dairy) ice cream and topping ($7 a bowl I think). I was tempted to get some fresh tropical fruit, also for sale, but skipped it. We saw other folks getting cut coconuts and pineapples with straws to drink the juice. Mango and other local sliced fruit was also available. A half dozen souvenir shops are in the same little parking area. The most upscale was the sea glass art shop, with works by local artists. “Hands down the best shave ice I've tried on Oahu! The ice is so finely shaved and they have a big selection of flavors. They even had my favorite, cotton candy, which I wasn't able to find anywhere else on the island. The owners were sooo sweet and friendly too! Next time I'm on Oahu, I'll be back!“
“For one, the burgers are delicious. I almost went back for a second one.There's plenty of seating. Go next store to the supermarket for a beer or bottle of wine, and you're all set to watch the sunset while muching on some great eats. Just lovely!“
“I finally went to their new location in the Lā’ie shopping center and have been 2x so far. They have so many options so I will be back weekly.My first time was Breakfast, and the plate is $17 but HUGE lol I think 2 people can eat it, or save half for later. The Portuguese sausage and eggs were great.The fried rice was different, still tasty, but I keep thinking if it’s Brazilian style lol ??♂️ The sandwiches were great, but take a bite right away while they’re hot. I made the mistake of eating them last, and they weren’t hot anymore (see the breakfast plate photo and you’ll see why it took me so long before eating the sandwiches).2nd time I went for lunch to try all their pasta, and they were good! But if you’re the picky type, the Alfredo sauce wasn’t as creamy as we’re used to but I figure maybe that’s Brazilian style ??♂️ Again, the food was still good (especially the meats for each of our pasta-see photos).And if you love fries and onion rings-they were perfect! And the pesto sauce was our favorite.“
“Stopped here after a morning of snorkeling. We enjoyed a quick snack and a coffee. The coffee was pretty tasty. Most interesting part of my experience here was the guests… lots of local chickens, one of whom was very invasive and frequently stole food from our hands. BUT the food was good, the view was lovely. Worth it“
“Don't let its location deceive you, this place is a diamond. Located next to the Texaco Gas station off Kam Highway in Sunset beach, this place is fantastic. Small. Local. Tastes good. I love peanut butter so I always get their Da Kine Bowl. Refreshing after a day at the beach, after shopping or just a sweet treat. It's a vegans paradise. Not sweet, not boring, the granola cuts through the soft açaí and the bananas and honey just add to the flavor. They have a variety of acai bowl options as well as dragon fruit. This little hole in the wall is worth a stop. Young local kids are at the register. They are polite and take the time to answer a questions you may have. I have frequented this place during my extended stay here and have never been disappointed.“
“We were greeted immediately by a friendly and patient young lady. The hubby and I both ordered the Deez Ahi Poke Bowl, and it was delicious! Each bowl was $20, but the serving size was generous with loads of fresh tuna. We would highly recommend this food truck!Vegetarian options: Every dish contains meat or fish, but there are plenty of other food options just a few steps away.Kid-friendliness: Our boys are not traveling with us, but they would have loved it here.Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel road and eating area. Might be a little bumpy, but it's definitely accessible!“
