Just tried GEN at the Tukwila, WA SouthCenter mall location. It was great and we loved it. Our server, Christian, was the best, always prompt and ready to serve. The food was excellent and tasted great. We will definitely be back!! 😃

Gen Korean BBQ House is a fantastic spot for a fun and interactive dining experience, especially with friends or family. The atmosphere is lively, social, and perfect for groups.
The food keeps coming—so if the first round doesn’t satisfy, you can order more and keep the feast going. Everything is flavorful and well-prepared. There are tons of options on the regular menu, from meat to chicken, pork, and even calamari. The grilled pineapple is a must. The price is good for all you can eat, and lunch is more reasonable.
The service is attentive and efficient. The food comes out really quickly, and the grills are changed at the perfect pace. The place looks clean and cozy. For large parties, reservations are seated on time, but be patient with the follow-up service. The floors are very slippery, so walk with extra caution. When the restaurant is full, the ventilation struggles, and it gets very smoky inside. Wear something you don’t mind smelling like BBQ. Despite the wait for drinks, it is a fun, high-energy spot and one of the best meals on Maui. Highly recommended.
