Homegrown Cone serves phenomenal and delicious ice cream, considered by many to be the best they have ever had. The ice cream is fresh made on demand using a special fruit blend machine. Customers choose a dairy sweet cream or non-dairy coconut sorbet base, then select one or two fresh fruit flavors to be mixed in. Available flavors include coconut gelato with banana and lilikoi, guava, passionfruit, Kona Lime, ube cookie, cocoa nibs, Shikuwasa, and jaboticaba. The servings can be single or double. The ice cream is a little expensive but worth it for the fantastic, locally sourced fruit. The owner is super friendly and the spot has an eco-friendly focus. It is a great spot for an awesome treat that supports local farmers.
