This was hands-down the best shave ice I've had anywhere in the Islands! Friendly staff, delicious syrups made from actual fruit, and ingenious holes in the tables that prevent spills. If you have always played it safe by choosing red, green, and blue, take a chance and let one of the staff select for you! I guarantee that it will make your tastebuds stand up and say,"Whoopie!!"
The shaved ice was on point.
Ok shaved ice, but no comparison to JoJo on Kauai or Matsumoto's on Oahu. I had three flavors but it turned out 80% Ananas. Also, a large block of solid ice after you ate half of it. And, more expensive than JoJo or Matsumoto's.

The regular size is huge, with flavors that are true to the fruit, and just enough juice to flavor every bite without creating a puddle at the bottom. For those who have never had shaved ice, it is a must when visiting any Hawaiian island. Adding condensed milk can elevate this already perfect treat to a whole new level. Overall, Ululani's is a place that delights many and is worth the wait.
