During our vacation on the Big Island, we wanted to be sure we visited a coffee plantation. Thunder Mountain was one we found online, which was fairly near to where we were staying in Kailua-Kona, and offered tours and free tastings. Anna was our tour guide, and did an awesome job of explaining and showing things to us. Learned a lot about coffee, how it's grown, how it's made, and had no idea of some of the truths of coffee.....especially that lighter roasts have more caffeine!...read full review
I mean, what an experience!!! I have never ever in my life met someone as kind, as friendly, and in love with their job as our tour guide. She had beautiful long hair and was the sun on our cloudy tour day. Talk about people who love their job and represent their company, this girl was one of the kindest, coolest, and cheerful people I’ve ever met!!
