Shipwreck Bar offers a unique and special beachside experience, crafted from a restored old schooner. The atmosphere is relaxing, welcoming, and perfect, right on the sand with an amazing sunset view over the ocean. The setting is well-designed, comfortable, and unforgettable, capturing the spirit of the Big Island.
The sushi is truly top-quality, fresh, delicious, and amazing, on par with serious sushi spots. Specific rolls like the Caterpillar are highlighted, with incredible wasabi. The cocktail menu is equally impressive, with drinks crafted well from quality ingredients. Standouts include the Guava Flow, Missionaries Downfall, Conrad’s Mai Tai, and the Liliko`i Margarita, all described as fantastic, refreshing, tasty, and absolutely fantastic.
The service all around is great, wonderful, and top-notch. The staff is personable, easy to chat with, nice, and goes above and beyond, making guests feel welcomed, cared for, and adding a personal touch. This beachside bar at the resort is well worth the trip and highly recommended, a real highlight and the perfect spot to unwind.
