TARA MALIA'S Snatched by God’s Grace
This is hands down the best scones I’ve had. My mom and I always go to tea houses and we are scone experts! What I love about the owner (Jessica) is the love and expertise she puts into each flavor. The texture of the scone is perfect. The outside is firm but not crunchy and the inside is moist but the perfect scone consistency. They are not too sweet. Just sweet enough. With every bite the scone’s taste develops more and more. My favorites are the UBE & the LEMON CREAM CHEESE SCONE. I also order the Japanese cheese cake when I go. It is spongy and not too filling. And my trip to Bits & Bites visit is only complete with my favorite TIRAMISU LATTE, whole milk, topped with their home made cheese foam! Perfection!
Go early because she usually sells out before 3pm.

Consistently delicious, perfectly baked scones- a little crunch on the outside & super soft in the middle, and every local flavor you can imagine + the classic flavors as well. You will not be disappointed if you stop in here. The service (from the owner herself) is unmatched. Highly recommend!

Cute and tasty shop for a quick snack. I like the crumbly cake-like sweetness of these fresh baked scones. Show up when they open for the best selections! All the flavors have been tasty and balanced without being overly sweet, and still with the right crumble texture. I like the classics, the blueberry or the cranberry with the fresh berries, but the other flavors are good too, the ube, matcha w/white chocolate, lilikoi, and so many more. Solid and consistent 4.5 stars, 9/10 times they are perfection. Today was an odd day, both of mine were slightly egg-y tasting, so they may have switched suppliers or gotten a different brand of eggs this time. That being said, I have a pretty discerning palate and I don't think most people would taste the difference. They also sell coffee and have a few small tables for customers. Lots of parking options: street parking out in front, behind the building in the metered lot, or across the street at the park.

I recently visited Bits & Bites in Kailua. As always, the scones are absolutely exceptional. However, during my visit today I encountered a sanitary issue. The worker women not the owner was waiting to take my order but was standing there holding the tongs with her hands touching the top part of it the part that you get the food with, she was just standing there doing that for awhile then took my order. And used the same tongs to get my scones that she just put her hands all over.
While the quality of the scones are top notch. I believe it's crucial for this bakery to address these hygiene practices to ensure a fully positive experience for all customers.

Stopped by this cute shop from seeing reviews on yelp and Google! Walked in and shop has small seating area with tables and chairs and menu posted on wall for good and drinks.You can tell scones are fresh and was acknowledged right away when we walked in. Definitely has the small Cafe vibes about it and now on to flavor...We picked up a 6 pack of scones that came out to just about $35 total.1- Guava Cream cheese2- Rainbow3- coconut4- Blueberry5- Cinnamon Banana6- LilikoiNow I love sweet, but not on my pastires and I was hesitant about buying the lilikoi and guava but was reassured it wasn't as sweet as I thought. sure enough it wasn'tSmooth flavors throughout the scones, nice icing on top. Outside texture of scones are consistent and once you get inside its soft, moist and flavorful.We will come back to this cute little shop soon! I would recommend getting there early enough for variety.
