Bits and Bites is the best! Their drinks are amazing, I love the iced coffee with cheese foam. But their scones are even better! The owner bakes really tasty gluten free scones (not always in stock so call ahead!) and of course their regular scones and pastries are amazing as well. Highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to get one of their limited edition rainbow scones and promised the shop that we would post an insta because it was BEAUTIFUL. But..my son ate it before we got home!!!! 😭
We ordered half a dozen and got a good variety, and EVERY scone was perfect. The flavors came through on every single one and the consistency of the scone was on point. Highly recommend. Having a scone in hand definitely made my Costco trip more enjoyable :).

This is such a beautiful small business in the heart of Hawaii Kai. The owner is lovely and the scones are flavorful and delicious. If you want a full selection of scones, make sure to get there early in the morning because they sell out by midday!

I’ve never written a review before but after trying these scones I felt compelled to share my experience!! The owner is an extremely sweet lady, and an incredible baker! I’ve never had such soft, crumbly, and fresh flavored scones before. I’ve always liked them, but didn’t know they could be this good! I think it is a great idea to stop by and support this bakery, and you’ll definitely love it. She also wrapped some of our scones when we mentioned we were planning on having some tomorrow, and recommended the ones that should be eaten sooner like the fresh fruits and cream cheese scones, which was very thoughtful.
We love Bits and Bites Cafe and were super sad when it moved from Kailua to Hawaii Kai. The scones are amazing and the owner is super friendly and accommodating. We ordered ahead of time gluten free scones for my birthday and they were SOOOO good! Ube was one of our favorites.
We are happy they are right next to Costco though - so as long as we get there during their business hours we can still enjoy them during our bi-weekly trek to Hawaii Kai. :)
