Decent food in a spartan environment. The Guacamole was overly salty and the margaritas were not as fresh as other visits. It has a loyal following and the staff is great, they just need to refine the food a bit and maybe upgrade the setting.
Best Mexican I’ve tried on island. As close and authentic to “Tex mex” as this Texan will get out here… all the other places put black olives on their Mexican dishes (talk about a red flag lol).

Our waitress Neida was wonderdul too.
It isn’t a fancy atmosphere-wise, but the margaritas, homemade chips, salsa & food make up for it!
Living in Hawaii for 22 years, I am so happy to have finally discovered this restaurant! I’m from LA and grew up with amazing authentic Mexican food.
To make it even better, I would recommend that at night they invest in better lighting and put some candles out on...
