Genki Sushi USA is a lively and quick spot for families, not a normal sushi restaurant but an amazing experience. The restaurant features robot assistants to bring drinks and conveyor belt trains to deliver food orders. The menu has many great options, with anything using the eel sauce noted as sweet and delicious. Dishes like the tempura and fried rolls arrive hot, in perfect portions and artistically arranged. A seasonal special included an uni shiso temaki and uni nigiri. The take-out chicken karaage bento is a good deal for the price, with good chicken karaage and sushi rolls, though the salad looked better in the picture.
The place can be short staffed, making it difficult to get attention for drink refills or paying the tab. However, the staff that is present is very attentive and amazing with a smile, with the manager checking on tables. The sushi rice could be better. While it won't win Michelin stars, the rolls fly out fast, providing peace and quiet for a quick lunch. The atmosphere is filled with many families and the loud rolling machine gives hope that your food is coming soon. It is a go-to spot that customers love and will always come back to.
