We had Sunday brunch, so it was not too busy which worked out due to their limited staff (bartender/server, bus person/server and a host up front). They did an amazing job under the circumstances. Food and cocktails were delicious! We enjoy all of Roy Yamaguchi's restaurants.
My friend and I consider the Eating House our favorite. The food is delicious, the cocktails are great and the staff makes it so much fun. The Mongolian Barbecue Ribs is on top of my list of food must haves.
Just made it in time for happy hour pupus and drinks - ribs (10/10), brussel sprouts (10/10), spicy ahi maki (9.5/10 but maybe just personal preferences). Dinner entrees - grilled kanpachi with red thai curry sauce (9.5/10 next time i'll ask for a little but more sauce), duck with duck confit risotto (8/10 duck leg was a bit dry and tough on the edges though towards the bone was moist. this dish was a special). The Bull Shed Restaurant offers great food with an amazing staff that ensures a pleasant experience. The prime rib is a popular choice, a better tasting and amazing portion, along with the shrimp and lobster dishes. The side salads are tasty and you can add a salad for $3, although some miss the salad bar that used to be available. The lakefront atmosphere and oceanfront views add to the dining experience; you sit close to the water. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, with a diverse menu selection including filet and tenderloins and a super good daily fish special. The restaurant's location can be a bit tricky to find, but once inside, the beautiful water views through glass windows are captivating. While prices may be on the higher side, the quality and ambiance make it worth it. It is pricy but worth it and has the best prices in town. The restaurant can get busy quickly, so planning ahead is recommended. Dress code is island casual.
