Both times we had JoJo’s shaved ice while visiting Kauai the shaved ice was great! However I do have to say, the employees working the Kapa’a location was much more welcoming and friendlier than the Hanalei location.
We love JoJo’s Shaved Ice. It is the best we have had anywhere. We always go to the one in Hanalei several times per trip. We made the mistake of going to to the shaved ice place in Princeville and what a mistake. It cost more than twice as much and was less than half as good. The only place we will go now is JoJo’s! In addition to a much better flavor, it also melts very slow and does not turn into a mushy mess like others.

JoJo's Shave Ice is a shop offering shaved ice with many flavor options, both a la carte and in recommended combos. The tropical breeze with macadamia nut ice cream and coconut cream topping is a perfect treat. The folks are really nice and the line moves quick. The scoops are actually really big, so it is pretty good to share. It will hit so hard after a day in the hot sun. It is highly recommended to try the shave ice with the macadamia nut ice cream.
