Me and my husband went to order lunch today and while waiting for our food my husband heard someone coughing. He looked in the cracks of the curtain behind the counter and noticed the 2 cooks weren't wearing thier masks. He went behind the counter and saw 1 of the cooks coughing while preparing our plates!!! No masks, No gloves and coughing! My husband was furiously . The lady cashier said they always don't wear masks! Do not eat here! Unsanitary and just not right! That's how people get sick and spread the virus!!

Ordered the Teri pork plate. It was dry and salty. I haven't had a Teri pork plate in a while and this was my first time ordering from Bob's. Very disappointed.

Haven't tried a plate lunch...always just go for the burgers. Burgers are tasty and huge! I think the patty is twice as big as the one you get from the kalihi location? Bob's meal is a burger, a huge pile of french fries and. 32 oz drink for $7.50! What a deal!

Got the Hibachi chicken plate. It seemed like the chicken was boiled and dipped in sauce BUT forgot to make it to the grill. Gross. gonna visit the kalihi location to satisfy my cravings.

This has been one of my go to places (for delivery), if you haven't enjoyed their food, you are missing out. The Super Combo is incredible, the meats are the star of the show.

It's my fist time here and I decided to try the shoyu chicken since that's one of the dishes that's only available at the Kapolei location. The cashier was very helpful with my order. I didn't want a big plate so I just got a side order of shoyu chicken with onion rings. I got home and the shoyu kinna spilled in the bag. But that's my fault. I eat couple bites and it's okay. It's small kine dry. Then I took the skin off and that's when I saw that there's still feathers on my chicken. I felt so disgusted. Don't think I'll ever get this dish again.

Menu is limited compared to the original bobs. Parking is ample to eat in your car if you choose to since there is empty storefronts across. Most would argue about portioning but compared to the competition bobs prices justifies it since other companies charge more. It's a go to place if you're not a heavy eater and looking for a budget friendly place to eat. They have monthly specials that cost $5.99 (as of this review) consisting of different full plates lunches. Only other drawback is the food is not cooked the same as the original location. I'm guessing it's a flat iron grill rather than bobs original flame type of grill.

Monthly specials are probably one of the very few cheap deals on the island for a plate lunch. Don't expect anything great or awesome and you should be fine. I don't suggest bbq from a plate lunch place.. even though it's in the name. You will probably be disappointed when trying to compare it to better places, so don't be d*** after being informed. Gravy on side for chicken cutlet so it won't get soggy besides needing to make a better tasting one. Rice is usually mushy, but the mac salad is decent.

They have the best monthly specials with awesome prices. This month is chicken katsu for 6.00 and I gotta have the side gravy for 1.00 Awesome place and they are practicing safe distancing by you order and pickup at the front door.
