This is my favorite hot pot place! I’ve tried the same brand at different locations, and this one is the best value. The spicy broth is delicious, and they even include wagyu and Häagen-Dazs in the price—such a great deal!

My whole family left super full and happy. The service was amazing—friendly, attentive, drinks always refilled, and plates cleared right away.

10/10 service. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing dinner at Hawaii Pot Shabu House! The broth was rich and flavorful, the meat slices were tender and high-quality, and the vegetable platter was fresh and abundant. Great value for the variety and quality offered.

A special shout-out to our server, Iven! He was incredibly attentive, patient, and friendly. He gave helpful recommendations, kept our broth refilled, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. His genuine warmth and professionalism truly elevated our dining experience.

If you’re craving delicious shabu shabu served with true Aloha spirit, this is the place—especially if you’re lucky enough to be served by Iven! We’ll definitely be back.

This place is very unique, fun, and interactive. Similar to some Korean bbq style places, here, you get a base of soup, and then you order your meat from the server. While they are getting your meats, you walk over to the toppings bar and serve yourself your own toppings and dipping sauces. Everything is unlimited so you can order as much mean, toppings, and drinks as you want.

It’s also BYOB so if you’re in the mood for beer, wine, alcohol, you can walk over to Foodland and pick up some drinks and bring them right over.

The cooking portion of this experience is the most fun part because you can cook your meat how you want and only cook what you want. It’s great for families with kids as well. They get to cook their own food.

This hotpot place was our family go to since we discovered it. It was $19.99/person. Then went up to $24.99, last time we ate 2 weeks ago $29.99. Went this past weekend $34.99, can't afford anymore 😥

MANAGER SIMON IS TERRIFYING! I had a really disappointing experience at Hawaii Pot Shabu Shabu House in Modesto. While I was checking out, the manager, Simon, was standing uncomfortably close over the two young women at the counter. It was noticeable enough that one of them politely asked for more space & even as a customer, I felt how inappropriate and uncomfortable his hovering was. Instead of respecting her, Simon pulled one of the girls aside and began belittling & yelling right in front of me and my guests. After I finished paying, I told him it wasn’t right to speak to his staff that way and shockingly, he turned his anger toward me. Simon started yelling at me in front of the entire restaurant, embarrassing not only me but my friends as well. This kind of behavior from a manager is completely disrespectful & disgusting. No employee or customer should be treated that way. It left a very bad impression and ruined what should have been a pleasant dining experience. Simon’s conduct was absolutely unacceptable, and I hope ownership takes this seriously. I felt so bad for the young ladies working.
