Pork lumpia's were extremely DRY and SALTYYYY. Didn't taste good at all. We ordered the adobo and guisantes and seemed like they accidentally spilt a gallon of fish sauce in the pot. I love salt but this was too much. They're closing next week. Probably for a good reason.

Fantastic staff and great lumpia. The ice cream there was also delicious.

We got a bunch of lumpia's and they were really good (pork and banana). If you think you are driving into a residential community, it's because you are. No nonsense good home cooked food.

Got the pancit and guisantes. Both were delicious! The guy behind the counter (John?) works super hard. Loved the service and hope he can keep it up!

I am always on a hunt for some tasty and refreshing Halo Halo! This place had a picture of a Halo Halo on their store front window so I figured,"why not give it a try?" I am so glad I did. The Halo Halo was nicely sized for the price and it came with ube ice cream and a wafer. It really hit the spot for the hot afternoon! I like that this place has a mom&pop type feel to it as oppose to the larger sized restaurants. For a one man operation, the wait is not too long either. Everything is made fresh!!!

Great little gem hidden the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Everything that I ordered was tasty, especially the lumpia, which were served piping hot! I ordered the Adobo and Gisantes combo plate and a few pork/beef lumpia. The flavors were rich, not too oily or salty, and the vegetables weren't mushy, which tells me that the dishes weren't simmering for a pronged period. Oh, and these were generous portions too! Of course, the best food can be ruined by a poor environment or unfriendly experience. Thankfully, this was a very pleasant experience. The eatery is very tidy, the prices are reasonable and the owner is very pleasant, warm and welcoming. I encourage you to give this place a try

What a delightful little place nestled in a beautiful neighborhood. The owner let me sample the days special before placing an order. Ordered two beef and two pork lumpia. Added the special of New York Steak Pochero I with orange and purple sweet potatoes. I'm my goodness I'm in heaven!

Great food. Lumpia was not the a-typical smaller kind, more like Chinese egg roll size. But super nice guy and clean place.

Place is amazing! I drove 30 mins for this food and it was well worth it!

We stumbled across the place by accident- what a happy surprise! We thought the price meant the lumpia would be smaller. We were wrong. This man is proud of his product, as he should be. Very tasty!

Highly recommend! We randomly stumbled into Paul John's and now want to go here a couple more times before our trip ends. I believe it was the owner who was helping us out, he was really kind and had awesome customer service! We ordered the pork lumpia, and two choice plate with chicken/pork adobo and pancit. He brought us our food (which was a very generous amount, we ended up having leftovers) and extra an pancit and banana lumpia on the house. The food was great and tasted authentic! Also the banana lumpia was really yummy!! It's a small place but a must try!

You won't regret going to Paul John's Lumpia especially if you are super hungry and are wanting Filipino food. The owner of this Filipino take out restaurant is very good at giving awesome customer service. He's very generous with how much food he gives in each plate you order, so I'd recommend getting a two choice plate with Pancit noodles and the adobo (which is a mix of chicken and pork). I'd also recommend the pork and banana lumpia.

Had pork lumpia for the first time in my life at a small stand in Waipahu and had been searching for it ever since. This lumpia is superior to other pork lumpia because he adds mixed seasoned veggies where as traditional pork lumpia stands alone. Seasoning was so spot on didnt need the chilli or the vinegar. I burned my mouth 6 or 7 times because they are just that good. It’s a small business and the gentleman was cooking and taking orders but he is passionate about his customers and the service. He even included a free banana lumpia for my son 10/10 I will be returning ?
