I want to start by saying that El Ranchero Restaurant is a very good place with a great atmosphere. They do everything possible to make the food taste authentic. I want to emphasize that, since we're on an island, it's a bit more challenging to get certain ingredients, but the restaurant makes every effort to bring us that authentic Mexican flavor. The customer service in the morning and afternoon is excellent. The regular waitstaff is very friendly and attentive.

We ate here for dinner on a Saturday. There was plenty of seating. The drinks were good, and the food was delicious.

We ordered the margarita flight which was a really good deal I thought. For like 10 bucks you get three margarita flavors to try and they were all really good.
The salsas were really good. They have a good spicy one if you're into spicy salsa. The green salsa was pretty good too. We ordered the chorizo queso and no one at the table...

Kapolei is their second location, Wahiawa was the first. We ordered Vegetarian Burrito, I requested the waitress if they could make it as big as Chipotle and they did. Chicken Tamale and Chicken Sope were just what we wanted after a long day of driving around, may have tasted next level with a Margarita. Check out photos and go check it out for yourself.
