Kihei Fish House by Maui Grill is a highly recommended spot! Their coconut shrimp are delicious, and the grilled mahi-mahi with special sauce is so yummy. Every plate comes with tasty rice, sweet potato salad, and green salad. All the meals are consistently good! While the waiting time can be a bit long, the shaded outdoor seating with 6 long tables makes it comfortable. Definitely check this place out for fantastic seafood.“

“Fuego! Ordered the 6pc pineapple teriyaki wings, animal style tots, strawberry punch (lemonade). Got 7 wings instead of 6, can’t recommend pineapple teriyaki enough. Drink was about 8oz and full of ice for about $7. Each sooo was a dollar, but was tasty! Service was great, super welcoming and went the extra mile to ask us if we needed extra utensils a bag, napkins, etc. Seems like basic service but you’d be surprised at how many places you have to verbally ask for those things in HI if it’s your first trip. 4.8/5- only ding was the small drink- would recommend.“

“I know what you might be thinking when you see this place. Should I really bother trying to get genuine BBQ in Maui? Will this really stack up to a Carolina, Memphis, KC or Texas joint? Surprisingly, yes.

These folks know what they're doing, are super friendly, and their BBQ is legit. They're using local wood in their offsets too, so it is a unique experience compared to other places.

Can't go wrong with their ribs and I loved every side I tried, with the Mac n Cheese being a standout.“

“Stopped by the Kihei Food Truck Park after seeing it driving by a couple nights ago. It turns out Vidads has the (strangely) elusive garlic noodles we’ve been searching for! And at so much better of a price than anywhere else on the island! The garlic noodles were incredible and the beef on top was mouthwatering. Afterwards, we got the taro boba and ube boba and they were unbelievably affordable and delicious. Service was quick and servers were friendly! Garlic Noodles“

“I had the pleasure and the privilege of having one of the best fish taco I’ve ever had. The product wash fresh, mahi mahi, the environment very clean and tidy. There were 2 very cool guys from Argentina. They cooked for us and suggested me some very nice places for snorkeling. One of them was Santiago and the other Vicente. I really recommend the food from there if you really want to taste the local product.“

“Daniel at Mexirican Mix is crushing it. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and seriously the best Mexican I’ve had on the island. You can tell he puts heart into everything he makes. This is a weekly must for us! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out!“

“Tried Aloha Thai Fusion, and their Pad See Ew was hands down the best I had on the island even better than Thai Me Up. Great flavor, texture, and perfectly cooked noodles.

As for the Drunken Noodles, I’d still give the edge to Thai Me Up they do those a bit better in my opinion. But if Pad See Ew is your go-to, this is the spot.

Definitely coming back here on my next trip to try more of their menu. This is a must try if you're in Maui“
