We used to be regular customers of Roy's in Woodland Hills before we moved and have gone to Roy's on the Big Island and were excited to try another of his restaurants. It far exceeded our expectations. The meal was fabulous!

Our server Dante was a very informative and a patient server explaining in the most descriptive way each of the menu items. He claimed to be a wordsmith since he is also a local teacher. We had the Roy Yamaguchi classic combo short ribs and fresh seafood option. The meat melted in our mouths. For dessert we had the Halo Halo ice cream. Delicious!

Food and service were amazing! We had a special app, the hama collar and it may have been my favorite dish. Super tender, cooked beautifully with a special sauce on a asian pickle slaw. We also had the sashimi which was very tasty too. For entrees, we had the beef short rib, ramen, and butterfish. All of them were cooked perfectly.
