Tried this spot last night and was not disappointed. Owner is great people and the cocktails/food were great too. Upstairs atmosphere and an overall great spot if you’re visiting the area.

YUM!!! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and the e staff was so sweet and had fun with us too! The restaraunt was upstairs and you could look out at the shoppers below. Really nice ambiance and selection of food. There was more on the menu at the location than what we saw online. The captain of our boat tour recommended this place as one of his favorites and we are glad we went! Delicious!!!

Waaaay too much garlic in the Tonkatsu ramen. Could not taste the pork broth. Was expecting some exceptional pork as well, but it was just “meh”, (dry, over-cooked, tough) especially for $30. Service was top notch. Genuine sweetness of the island.

First time back this year and the quality was excellent - just like last year. Everyone was friendly and engaging from the bartender (who happened to be the owner) to the hostess and our waitress. The food was delicious as always!

We love Hapa! The owners are fabulous and we fell in love with their food when they started their first restaurant in Portland, Oregon. It was such a treat to visit them in their new beautiful location. And the food was as delicious as we remember! ???
We booked our reservation through Open Table for 8 people on the porch. We arrived 5 minutes early, only to find out that the restaurant had given our reservation away. REALLY??? To an oriental family who claimed to be the “Stern's”, REALLY?? When pressed how this could be, the manager became indignant and said we could leave! Said she wouldn't speak to someone who did not respect her. REALLY? She was the one disrespecting us, and if I didn't know better bias against caucasian tourists. We were put in a back room with no view or outdoor experience. The food was very good, but our experience was tainted at that point. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on how we were treated. Nor does it bode well for an Open Table reservation.

Amazing drinks, totally awesome food, great staff. Karaage was super tasty and the hapa g special and curry ramen were perfect, the sazerac was like liquid velvet definitely going to recommend this spot.
What a neat spot! I was hesitant to do Valentines dinner here due to some of the poor reviews, but decided to try it anyways. Service was very kind and prompt, and followed a great “2 bites/2 minutes scheme” (checked on us before food arrived, during if we needed anything, and at the end). Ambience was very nice, and food was excellent and very flavorful. I would definitely recommend any ramen lovers to go to HAPA!
Fantastic noodles and a delicious shoyu broth. The service was extremely friendly. 10/10 recommend when shopping in kukui'ula

Pork Belly Bao Buns appetizer is worth the visit alone , but I also recommend trying the menu item-by-item. It is all flavorful and delicious. Hapa Ramen and Whiskey seems to be a hidden gem ! My only suggestion: Find ways to encourage Kauai residents to make this a regular spot .

The ramen was incredible! My husband and I both got G’s special pork belly ramen and added some chili crunch as well as the pork bell buns. We couldn’t stop talking about the food the entire time. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We can’t recommend this place enough, we’ll be back for sure!
